CUP RUN MY A$$

Cup run huh March.... Where are we running to and who are we running with? One thing is for sure, we will have less penalties as Nick 'hook'em. hold'em, spear'em" Boynton is out for the rest of the season.
Yup I will likely watch them, get all pissed off and then go beat the dog! I think I need to trade my dog though, his registered name is "Samsanov's a Bruin" good thing we call him Sam, that way I can pretend it is for Sam Adams or Uncle Sam. Because thanks to that drunk MOC, we all know Sammy and Joe are gone. I hope Joe ends up with the scoring title, that would really put some fire in JJ's ass about letting that trade happen. Even better would be Joe winning the cup this year (highly unlikely but hell it would be GREAT!) That would really fire up the fan base, the last two superstars in Boston go on to another team and win the cup. Ha that would be a real kick in the pants.

Another one down

Last night the B's where back to their old bag of tricks. They lost AGAIN, the five hit posts did not help, however their play in the defensive zone was no better. It was a typical cough up the puck in the defensive zone game and we seem to have mastered that one this season.

Ever think white collar criminals are harmless? I do, or did up until today at least. A co-worker of my played me a tape of a white collar criminal who was being recorded by a source wearing a wire. The criminal receives a phone call in the middle of the conversation that turns out to be an "associate" who tells him that there is a car watching the building that looks like the cops. You can hear the source moving in his seat (the microphone can be heard rubbing on his clothes) he gets nervous and so does the criminal, they talk about who may have followed the source there and then they go out the front door to see and the car is gone. (you are probably thinking like I did that they heard the wire and moved. Nope the wire was recording but the audio in the car was not working, they could not hear squat.) The source then make a few common errors that lead the criminal to believe he is lying, and the source makes the grave mistake of going back in the building with the criminal and talking some more (he should have closed the deal on the sidewalk and left) when he goes to go back out the door you hear "hey can you unlock the door for me?" Then the screaming starts as he is stabbed sixty plus times. The agents then notice from the alley across the street which they had moved to that there is a struggle going on in the from window of the office. They come in shoot the criminal and actual are able to get help for the source. Good thing his was wearing a wire though, because he refused to testify fearing that this man was in the mob. He was not he had no other issues with the law except tax evasion and it was for less than 100 G's. White collar criminal who would have likely been fined now he is in jail for the tax evasion and attempted murder, not to mention he lost his arm due to the gun shot wound the agents left him with. freaky, and I think some of the drug dealers are just youth needing a little guidance. Not anymore, I'm shooting them all, then asking for some ID!

The writing is on the wall

The writing is on the wall for the exit of good old Harry Sinden. JJ is actually mad, (this may have something to do with the fact that there are more and more empty seats each night now that the B's have all but been assured a non bid to the post season.)
The Boston Globe interviewed JJ after the better late than never dismissal of MOC and JJ seemed to be hinting that Harry has seen his last days as the Bruins boss or that he is about to die, now the team bus idea comes to mind but seeing that Harry is responsible for the last cup in beantown he can not be thrown under the bus, however by allowing MOC to toss Joe and Sammy under the bus this is still a possible option. Anyway it looks as if the Jacobs family is finally getting hit in the purse and they don't like it..... Way to go folks , keep sticking it to the man who has been sticking it to us for the past 30 plus years!

ABOUT DAM TIME!!!!!!!!

That's right, the bus idea never came to fruition, but the moronic in the B's front office finally got there act together and canned MOC. Now if we can just somehow convince the Sharks that it would be in their best interest to trade Joe back, maybe we could get somewhere next season.
The GREAT news came late yesterday, along with the news that the coaching staff would be addressed at a later date. in other words, Sully is out the door as soon as the season is over, IF they can find someone else willing to take the job. Not sure if Sully should go or not but the writing is on the wall and it aint purty that's for sure. I think Sully will get the axe and I think that is too bad, he was handed a group of Jerry's kids with one Superstar name Joe and expected to run the table. Well we all know that did not happen, and the superstar is now on the other side of the country (playoff and scoring title in sight!)

Bye Bye MOC, I hope the door did hit you in the ass on the way out!! and HARD!

At step in the right direction

OK so the Bruins made a tiny step in the right direction today by signing PJ Axelson to a three year extension. That should make the 31 year old a Bruin for life, or at least what is remaining in his hockey life.

On another note, the Pats let another play walk today (Tom Ashworth) yes he was third or fourth on the depth chart but if this season is anything like last season we are going to need bodies, and he did start 11 of 16 games last year. Hope this is not the beginning of the end.
The Boston Globe has a pole going to see how many people still have faith in Bill Belichick's system. As of this post here are the results:

Yes 53.7%
No 46.3%

Total votes: 11207

Well at least he is in the positive, could be worse, but I can remember the days when Bill was getting close to 90% in any pole in his favor.

B's play again tomorrow, once again I am sure I will find myself migrating to the TV just to watch them go down in flames.

Thanks to Todd for the Ovechkin link, if your a hockey fan and want to see an amazing video check this out:

Worth listening and watching.

My father and my brother sent me an email tonight with this link in it http://www.managedmusic.com/beforeyougo.html If you have five minutes and would like to listen to a song written by a man in honor of all the WWII vets who many of are unfortunately running short on time. It was worth it to me, as my grandfather was a WWII veteran and I myself am a veteran. The songwriter simply wants to ensure that the message of thank you reaches as many vets as possible. So if you know a veteran especially a WWII veteran, pass them this link and make sure you say thanks. I am never more proud than when someone says "Thanks" for stepping up and defending what we all take for granted, our freedom. If your reading this and you are a veteran, "THANKS, your sacrifice is greatly appreciated in my household, and you will never be forgotten!"

Double whammy tonight!

Well I can not focus my ranting at Bob Kraft and the New England Patriots. Yes Bob is one of the best owners in sports, but tonight he allowed what is arguably the best kick clutch kicker in the league go. That's right Adam V is no longer a Pat. Sad times are ahead of us in NE this season, who's next Brady? They should have paid him what he wanted to make him a Pat for life.

I also just finished watching yet another blown lead by the B's at least this time they scored four goals, and they went beyond the first three shooters in the shootout. OK so I am grasping at straws here but at least there is a good side, and that it we should be seeing the last of MOC on causeway st. Unless of course the team bus driver has been reading this and decides to make him a prominent fixture on the pavement. Actually that may be the easy way out for him. Better than the bus idea is make him J personal secretary and then have JJ suffer from incontinence and make him live in a suite at the TD Bank North GAAAADEN that way they both have to watch what the mess the made and MOC still gets his chance to clean the mess on causeway st up, all be it a different mess, and one he did not create. This will let him know how the next sucker Harry hires to replace him will feel.

Time to drink for TWO reasons

Holy SHNIKIES! The Bruins WON! and in a shoot out no less. They did their best to blow a 2-0 lead in the 3rd, but somehow they pulled out the shoot out win (last team in the league to do so mind you)
good thing they pulled this one off, as I would have had to take a trip to Bellingham to open a can of whoop ass seeing that Todd convinced me to watch it.

I do have to say I am still impressed with Patrice Bergeron. He is playing like a seasoned veteran, not someone who was the youngest player in the league during the last season. (mind you he was good then too)

Well it is St Patty's day and I am off to the Washington Wizards game for some over priced green beer with my brother in law. yeah I know basketball, but hey the tickets where free, and we are sitting on the floor (well actually in seats) so I may be able to entice one of the players to come into the stands and kick my ass, resulting in a large pay out of money by the NBA and the player. If I can only remember not to fight back, simply take my million dollar broken jaw like a true man, not like the drunk Irish fool I plan on being!

To the nectar of the Gods, otherwise known as mothers milk!

Boynton wants to stay

The Boston Globe reports today that Nick boynton wants to stay in Boston... Well that ought to be a big surprise.. After his actions this past week who the heck else is going to want him?

This is day two of the MOC, JJ bus watch, still no news, dam it!

I am sitting here listening to my speaker phone ring at the US Postal Consumer affairs office (it's been ringing for 10 minutes now) I have this little issue with my mail, I have been getting mail for people who do not live here or that live on another street in my area. Yes I know this happens to everyone, but does it happen everyday? I have even gone to the post office and sat down with the Post Master. Still no results, I leave messages in the mail box, I call day in and day out... no results. I am beginning to see why so many people go nuts at the post office, they work with a bunch of morons. How hard is it for the delivery person to read a name and address and make sure it is correct? I mean isn't that part of their job?

Anyway enough of that, I am contemplating on whether or not to watch the B's tonight. [art of me says NO stick to your self set goal, and the other half says aaaah go ahead get your crack fix, watch them loose and go to bed pissed off as usual, after all it seems this is what being a B's fan is all about!!!

Slap (in the face) shot!

O.K. Here goes nothing.....
I have been a Bruins fan for oh hell... a LONG TIME! Anyway I told a buddie of mine ToddieT123 that I would not watch another B's game until MOC was as to make like Elvis and exit the building, well I was doing great for the past week, until last night when I began surfing NHL Center Ice while watching faithfully departed Sammy and the crude pumpers. I found myself watching the B's build a 4-2 lead over the struggling Leafs.... only to loosein a shoot out. We finally put more than two biscuits in the net and WE STILL FREAKING LOOSE! I put this one on the shoulders of Boynton. I know todd, you like the kid, I am not sure when the rock fell on his head, if it was during the lockout or during his hold out, but it sure as hell did some damage! First he gets 10 for running his mouth about a blatant cross check (which mind you was not called on him) then he continues to run his mouth ensuring a full 2:00 five on three all but sealing the tie for the leafs. Then he comes out of the box after his twelve minute two goal rest, and gets another penalty, tripping someone who was taking the puck to the corner. I know scoring from the corner CAN happen, IF YOUR WAYNE FREAKING GRETZKY! What pissed me off even more, and has now led me to believe that maybe Sully is not the man for the job either (read MOC and Sully hold hands as they depart Causeway St. in April, or sooner, heading for the unemployment line, while the largest crowd since Ray brought back the cup HE WON IN COLORADO, stands outside cheering!) Boynton should have never been back on the ice, Sully should have sat his sorry a$$ on the bench and told him his next shift comes tomorrow morning when he will find himself skating from goal line to goal line in a referee uniform reciting “I will learn to keep my mouth shut” , or when one of his remaining defensemen drops dead and no sooner. I am now on the Boston Globe watch, hoping to see the sports page with a breaking news headline that reads... "Team bus hits MOC and JJ, and keeps moving... next stop? Playoffs 2007???"
